This is a really bright display, and one of the brightest displays you can get at this price. The phone comes with a 6.79-inch 1.5k AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which provides sharp photos, smooth scrolling, and strong contrast. 120Hz refresh rate makes animations and social-media scrolling smooth. Honor also adds an optical fingerprint sensor instead of an ultrasonic one. Ultrasonic sensors are usually reserved for more expensive phones, so it’s understandable for the Honor X9d.

This phone is best for users who want a large battery. Honor gives silicon-carbon battery. Honor is the first brand to bring silicon-carbon battery technology to smartphones. This phone’s battery life is awesome. I was getting 2-days of battery life easily. If you buy this phone, you can get a 66W charger inside the box.

Let’s talk about the Honor X9d Power & Performance; Honor uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, which is around 4nm. This chipset is efficient, but it’s not the best-performing chipset you can find at this price. We also get LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. If you want to play heavy games, this smartphone will not satisfy you. But you can play games like PUBG Mobile; it runs at 90 FPS. I am disappointed with the software because Honor does not use Android 16 on the phone. Honor X9d runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.
